21 days of expressive type

Tired of the lockdown? Want to try something creative during this Corona scared life? Are you a typography/calligraphy enthusiast?

This is an attempt at creating typographic expressions in Indian Scripts with a conscious effort at linking visuals with meaning.

I have an instagram account @typesemanticsindia set up specially to host the images created for this purpose.
There will be one word assigned for a set of three days. You can express it in any way you like, provided you study each word and different meanings/associations in different contexts. You can use any Indian script to express the word. Do not use English/Roman text. You may use fonts, calligraphy or hand lettering.
Final image can be uploaded in Instagram with a hashtag #typesemanticsindia
When you upload and use our tag, please mention the language (Example: Tamil script) used in your visual.

There are seven "Chakras" in the human body, they are considered as nerve centres, energy centres, spiritual touch points etc. Each one has an association with colour, emotions, sound, music, letter forms etc. These chakras are very important when we try to learn spiritual practices like Meditation, Reiki etc.
There is vast amount of information available on the web about these chakras, please read some relevant information before you start your visual expressions.
The main challenge is in creating a good link between what you create and what you mean by it and what is the meaning of the word you are expressing.

We start with seven chakras of the human body. Three days are there to express the word in a creative style.
